Policies
Solvo has established a number of policies relating to environment and climate, community, health, safety and working environment as well as quality. In the work of formulating a policy on corporate social responsibility, we begin with a statement from the world's strongest girl, Pippi Longstocking:
“When you are extra strong, you have a special obligation to be kind to others.
When you live and operate in a well-functioning society, very much is granted. As we see it, you have an obligation to share when you are in a fortunate position.
Policy Concerning Environment and Climate
Awareness
Solvo wants to be known as an environmentally conscious and responsible company. We believe it is essential for a small business as Solvo to formulate a policy concerning environment and climate issues.
Climate and environmental issues are on the agenda – with good reason. Nature and climate are under pressure, so it should be regarded an important task to contribute to a recovery. The Danish parliament has adopted legislation that sets an ambitious goal for a CO2e-reduction in 2030 at 70% relative to emissions in 1990. If this goal is to be achieved, everyone has to contribute.
Therefore, Solvo strives to achieve CO2e-reduction internally, just as we will focus on our impact on the environment. Externally, we can help by continuing to provide automation solutions that streamline production, etc.,in order to produce more using the same or less energy. Finally, we will have a focus on how our purchases affect the environment and the climate.

Our quality goals are pretty simple:

We will keep our promises to our customers by always deliver the expected quality and always do it on time.
We are aware that superior quality does not come by itself, but rather depends on the individual employee's abilities, values and considerations. Therefore, we continuously educate our team of staff. Thereby, we ensure that they are aware of and understand the various processes in the context of our quality management system and are committed to our quality policy and values in everyday life.
We are also aware that quality is a dynamic concept in constant motion and debate. Therefore, we critically evaluate and measure our own processes in a continuous pursuit to create improvements that reflect both our customers' expectations and requirements as well as the development of the industry.
Do What You are Good at
support
Via our membership of the Red Cross Business Club, we support the vital efforts of the Red Cross around the world. We cannot go out and help everyone directly – instead, we do what we are good at. But we can support organizations who are doing an enourmeous effort to improve the lives of people affected by war, crises and disasters.
Each year Solvo also contributes economically to The Danish Cancer Society, just as we support the association Families with Children Suffering from Cancer, which provides the children suffering from cancer and their families experiences and breathing spaces in a very difficult situation.
Like most other people, we have also dealt with cancer, so it makes good sense for us to support this case.

Consideration
We are committed to protecting our employees' health and safety in the workplace. Therefore, we have formulated a Policy for Health, Safety, and Working Environment. In this, we focus on to preventing accidents, keeping job satisfaction, and ensuring a safe and motivating work environment. We believe, that freedom with responsibility and good working conditions are crucial elements in running a successful business.
